As some of you may notice, there has been a change to the messageboard. Namely I have incorporated the borders with the look of the main AboutNewJersey.com site. I felt that this would allow people to more easily move around the site and would make the mesageboard seem more a part of the site, instead of a seperate entity.
Please give me your thoughts on this. For some reason it does look better in FireFox. Of course Firefox 3.0, which I recently downoaded is also incredibly faster than the previous version of Firefox and IE. That is neither here nor there, but I may have to do some research into why the messageboard doesn't retain its size consistantly from page to page.

New Jersey is the only state honored by two resorts at Walt Disney World. The Beach Club Resort, modeled after Historic Cape May and The Boardwalk Resort, after Atlantic City. If the Jersey Shore is good enough for Walt Disney to recreate, isn't the REAL Jersey Shore even better for you and your family?
it looks good to me makes more of a statement. A person from Nj.com was in the store the other day and he said he was going to try to hook up with you
Thanks Dave. If you notice any problems, please let me know. As I said, for some reawson in IE it doesn't retain it's size from page to page. It's only affected in the "Who's Online" and the pages like "User CP'. It's not affecting the main content pages.
So what did you and the person from NJ.com discuss?

Well, it does look great! I did try it out in firefox as well as explorer, the differences are subtle but the forum does come out great, it is much easier to navigate about. Thanks!
The new messageboard looks wonderful! Here's to a great 2009!
Thanks. People will be seeing a lot of changes to the site in general in the next year. In the middle of January - we are scheduled to have our first e-newsletter go out and then we are working on making everything database driven - especially the attractions. This will make it much easier to search for attractions of a particular type or in a certain location.

What might be a good idea is a place on the site where we can post pictures of N.J. that we take while exploring our great state!
Thanks NJPride - I love this idea! I was giving it some thought this weekend and I am thinking of trying to work this in with the membership registration. It would allow members to upload photos and create online photo albums for others to view. I have a couple of other ideas to really expand this out.

Photo albums are a great idea, you may also want to consider short video clips, that members can post on anything new jersey. Of course, you would require a screening process so as to keep out the undesirables out, but I am sure that you would be able to work something out. I for one, can hardly wait for these changes to be initiated, thanks,
Great job Kashyar...when you get used to it ...it becomes easier to navigate. I also like the fact you can now log in and out at the top of the home page instead of having to scroll down everytime.
