With the budget cuts in NJ and the change in peoples habits i wonder what the future is for NJ's libraries. I have noticed that a lot of them in the area i travel (between Camden and Atlantic Co) have undergone renovations or plan to and these often have elaborate ad-ins like large conference areas, coffee and snack bars, larger computer rooms. But when i go into my library i see the same few people. I see more people in Borders at the events or meeting friends for coffee. I am an old 'library gal' but i am starting to wonder if they are becoming obsolete?
