I'm wondering what everyone thinks about the future of Atlantic City.
The Borgata, the tunnel, The Walk, the new Convention Center, and Harrah's new tower are something, but they're all starting to look like just the beginning.
Now there's Pinnacle, MGM, Revel, Wynn coming back to town (and buying the entire Bader Field area!), and big talk about re-design of the entire East Atlantic City/322 entrance into Atlantic City.
Over the last year or two I was thinking Atlantic City was going through a bit of a re-birth. Now, however, I'm thinking Atlantic City is moving to version 2.0 at warp speed. The timing couldn't be better either. Over the next 2-3 many of these projects should be completed, and having their grand openings right when the economy will, hopefully, be on a nice upward growth curve.
I think that not only are we going to see the biggest rennovation and growth in Atlantic City since the casinos came to town, but also, we're watching Atlantic City bounce back to a world class destination/seaside resort like it was before WWII.
Any thoughts?
