    Default Atlantic City Mayors again

Checking in with what's going on in AC again I find that the mayor who left office after a two week "disappearance" was replaced by a councilman who was replaced by another councilman and that they will be having a primary or something very soon. Among the candidates are -
    1. A former mayor who apparently has not had a job since he left office and sued the city for six figures, won and then had the decision reversed recently and was told he had to give the money back.
    2. The former mayor's co-plaintiff who was fill-in mayor #1, and who was also told he had to give his share of the settlement back.
    3. The current mayor.
    4. An independent candidate who's previous "job" was dressing up like King Neptune for local parades.
I don't get down the shore enough - reading their papers, which I do on a semi regular basis, I think south of Camden County they have a whole other batch of fun folks.

One day AC's politics won't be more ridiculous than an episode of South Park.

Don't you mean New Jersey politics???
New Jersey is the only state honored by two resorts at Walt Disney World. The Beach Club Resort, modeled after Historic Cape May and The Boardwalk Resort, after Atlantic City. If the Jersey Shore is good enough for Walt Disney to recreate, isn't the REAL Jersey Shore even better for you and your family?

    Default Jesse O'Leary Kurtz

I became friends with Jesse O'Leary Kurtz on Facebook. She is a wonderful young woman and a graduate of Magdellan College in New Hampshire, which (unlike Notre Dame, which invited Obama to give the commencement address) is a faithful Catholic college.

Jesse is heavily involved in the Steve Lonegan for NJ Governor campaign, and she is also running for mayor of Atlantic City. I really think she would clean up the mess there. The link to her Facebook page is below:

You are correct - Jesse is a guy. I have met him at various Atlantic City tourism events. He owns a blog that has covered Atlantic City. Here is a bit about him anyway - http://www.politickernj.com/user/2403

I stand corrected, with great embarrassment! Jesse uses a picture of himself and his wife as his Facebook avitar, and I though his wife was him! Since there are many women named Jesse, you can see how that could easily happen.

Anyway, he seems like a good guy to me!

Smile Not Good Since Before 1982

Atlantic City politics hasn't been the same since Mayor Michael Mathews was convicted for issues related to organized crime during the huge Casino Growth years of 82 - 84. We've had problems with just about every mayor since then in one way or another.

I did think Mayor Usry and Jame Whelan did a pretty decent job however!

Please let us elect a mayor that can make a difference in our town Atlantic City, New Jersey!

Lets focus on whats best for the city, not whats best for the the politicians! Creating new business opportunities in some way could be a good idea and helping to resolve labor issues along with trying to create more growth!
