I was going to pass on this but I had some time over the weekend and took it in - it was GREAT! Better than "Unforgiven", IMHO - great performances by Russell Crowe and Christian Bale and all of the supporting players, especially Peter Fonda. Lots of action, good pace - never boring and the kind of movie you may want to see twice. I remember seeing the old black and white version which was a pretty good western but maybe not one I would have thought of to remake - glad someone did.
