The Aberdeen Bayshore Celtics will be hosting their second home game of the 2006 PFL/6 season, this September 9th at 1PM. The Celtics play their home games at the http://www.tabramossportscenter.com in Aberdeen, New Jersey.

The Celtics enter the game with a 2-0 record after defeating the Williamsport Wildcats and the 2005 champions the Susquehanna Valley Stallions. The Celtics are a semi-professional team , and the roster features players who have played in professional football leagues all through out Europe, arena football league teams, and in numerous amateur/semi-professional league teams.

Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for children. A media booklet featuring league and team information, previous game statistics, and a player bio and page size color photo of each player is for sale at the front door for $5.

The Tab Ramos Sports Center(Celtic's Home Field) is located minutes off the Garden State Parkway. The Center features a concession stands selling beverages, candy , pizza, and hot dogs. The Center also features free parking, and seating that is only feet away from the action!

I'm going to let this thread be, but please only post one thread on the same subject (you posted this here and also in the Northern Shore section). Also, I hope you will discuss the Bayshore Celtics here. This thread does run a little contrary to our policy on advertising, but I do feel that it does have tourism related value, we just ask that people who post about an attraction such as this, discuss it. A messageboard is only as good as the content and discussions that are generated.

The reason I posted this on the both sections was because there might be some people who go onto the message board not looking for sports information, but looking for family activities in their region of New Jersey. I will keep you updated with future information on the team including what happens this week.

I just wanted to update everyone on how the Celtics are doing, we are now 4-0 and this Saturday @ 1PM we will be playing our final home game vs. the Williamsport Wildcats.

We previously defeated the Northern Penn. Energy by the score of 63-0 and defeated the Middletown Maniax 38-30 two weeks ago, last week was our final bye.

I just would like to keep everyone updated with what is going on with the Bayshore Celtics.

After finishing the regular season undefeated(6-0) and defeating the Susquehanna Valley Stallions in the division championship, we went on to play the Middletown Maniax,the southern division champs. The Celtics defeated the Maniax and won the 2nd Annual PFL/6 Championsip.

Currently, the Celtics are doing a lot of behind the scenes work, and are awaiting to see if any players or team officials won any All American awards.
